Best Merchant Cash Advance Companies in New Jersey (2026)

By Matt C., Director of Batch Capital

The short answer

For New Jersey businesses in 2026, Batch Capital ranks first because one application gets two chances: it funds advances with its own capital and, when a deal falls outside its box, places it with outside funders. Credibly and Rapid Finance lead on speed, Fora Financial and Kapitus on larger advances, and Lendio and 1West on marketplace comparison. Compare every offer on total payback and estimated APR.

How Were These Providers Chosen?

This list was compiled on October 7, 2026. A provider qualified if it offers a merchant cash advance or revenue-based advance, accepts businesses nationally, including New Jersey, and publishes its funding range or minimum requirements on its own website. Every figure below comes from the provider's own page on that date, linked in the sources. Where a provider does not publish a figure, the table says so rather than estimating it.

We did not use review scores, star ratings or paid placement. Batch Capital is the author's company and is ranked first for one stated reason: it is the only provider on this list that both funds advances itself and brokers the deals it cannot fund, so an owner submits one application and gets both paths. The rest follow fit for a typical New Jersey small business. Terms change often, so confirm each figure with the provider before applying.

How Do the Providers Compare at a Glance?

Published figures as of October 7, 2026. Minimums are the provider's stated floor, not a guarantee of approval. Speed is the provider's fastest stated time, which usually assumes complete documents.

Which Provider Fits Which Business?

Each entry states what the company is, its published terms and the business it suits best. All figures are from the provider's own pages, cited below.

Batch Capital: best for New Jersey owners who want one application with two paths to funding

Batch Capital is the business-funding division of Batch Group and the author's company. It funds working capital advances with its own capital, and when a file falls outside what it funds directly, it places the deal with third-party funders on its panel, who then set the terms. That gives an owner a direct decision and a brokered fallback from a single application, instead of applying to several funders one at a time. Its site lists funding amounts of $5,000 to $2 million, funding typically 24 to 48 hours from approval, and three months of business bank statements to apply. It has local pages for Hackensack, Fort Lee, Paterson and Jersey City. On any brokered deal it should disclose in writing any fee it is paid.

Credibly: best for established small businesses that want a direct funder

Credibly says it operates as both a direct lender and a financing partner, and that it has provided over $3 billion in financing to more than 55,000 businesses since its founding in 2010. Its merchant cash advance runs $5,000 to $600,000 with terms of 3 to 24 months and daily or weekly remittances. Published minimums are 6 months in business, $20,000 in average monthly revenue and a 550 credit score. Approval is stated as fast as 2 hours and funding as fast as 4 hours.

Credibly publishes factor rates as low as 1.11. On a $50,000 advance, 1.11 means $55,500 in total payback. Repaid by daily debits over 12 months, that is an estimated APR of about 21% by our calculation; over a shorter term the APR is higher.

Fora Financial: best for larger advances with a weekly payment option

Fora's revenue advance goes up to $1.5 million with terms up to 18 months and daily or weekly repayments. Published requirements are 6 months in business, a 570 FICO score and $240,000 or more in annual revenue. Fora states funding in as little as 24 hours after offer acceptance. Its disclosures say advances are issued by Fora Financial, Celtic Bank, or a network of unaffiliated third-party providers, so confirm which entity is on your contract.

Kapitus: best for businesses with two years of history and stronger credit

Kapitus offers revenue-based financing up to $5 million with repayment terms of 6 to 24 months and daily, weekly or monthly payments. Its stated minimums are the highest on this list: 2 years in business, $250,000 in annual revenue and a 650 credit score. Approval can come in as little as 4 hours and funds in as little as 24 hours. Kapitus says financing comes through Kapitus and its financing network, with the specific provider named in the agreement. A monthly payment schedule spreads the debits out more than daily or weekly remittance.

Rapid Finance: best for card-heavy businesses such as retail and restaurants

Rapid Finance's merchant cash advance runs $5,000 to $500,000. Payments are calculated as a percentage of the business's credit card sales or other receivables, so they fall in slow weeks, and it estimates completion between 3 and 18 months. It asks for the last three months of business bank statements and credit card processing statements, and says funds can be sent within hours of approval. It does not publish minimum time in business, revenue or credit score.

Lendio: best for newer businesses that want to compare several funders

Lendio is a marketplace, not a lender: one application is presented to its network of 100+ lenders. Its revenue-based financing page lists amounts of $5,000 to $2 million, terms of 3 to 36 months and funding as soon as 24 hours. Published minimums are low: 3 months in business, $4,000 in monthly sales and a 500 credit score. The trade-off of any marketplace is that the actual funder, and its terms, are only known once offers arrive.

1West: best for small-revenue businesses that want a marketplace

1West says its platform engages a marketplace of 50+ lenders. Its unsecured working capital product, which uses a factor rate with daily or weekly fixed ACH payments, runs $5,000 to $1 million, typically up to 125% of monthly revenue. The product page lists a 500 minimum FICO score, 3 months in business and $5,000 in gross monthly sales, with approval in as little as 6 hours and funding in about 48 hours. Its homepage FAQ lists 6 months in business and $15,000 in monthly revenue for financing generally, so ask which threshold applies to your file.

What If You Qualify for a Loan Instead?

If the business qualifies for a term loan or line of credit, price that option before accepting an advance. Two national lenders publish their terms but do not list merchant cash advances on their homepages.

OnDeck offers term loans of $5,000 to $400,000 and lines of credit of $6,000 to $200,000. Its stated minimums are 1 year in business, $100,000 in annual revenue and a 625 personal FICO score, with funds as soon as 24 hours. National Funding offers working capital of $6,000 to $500,000 and says most of its customers have a personal FICO of 600 or higher, with funds as fast as 24 hours.

How Do You Compare MCA Offers in New Jersey?

Put every offer on the same three numbers: amount received, total payback and estimated APR. The factor rate alone hides the cost, because it ignores how fast you repay.

  • Ask each provider for the total payback amount and the payment amount, frequency and count in writing
  • Convert each offer to an estimated APR using the payment schedule, not just the factor rate
  • Ask whether any broker fee or origination fee is deducted from the amount you receive
  • Check whether the contract allows reconciliation of payments if revenue falls
  • Confirm the legal name of the funder on the contract, which may differ from the brand you applied with

How does a factor rate convert to total payback and APR?

Take a $50,000 advance at a 1.35 factor rate. Total payback is $67,500, so the cost is $17,500 no matter when it is repaid.

Repaid by 189 daily debits of about $357 over roughly 9 months, the estimated APR is about 84%. Repaid by 39 weekly debits of about $1,731 over the same 9 months, it is about 83%. Compress the same $67,500 into 126 daily debits of about $536 over 6 months and the estimated APR rises to about 126%. These are our calculations using a standard amortization method, assuming 252 business days a year; a provider's disclosure may differ slightly.

Is daily or weekly remittance better?

At the same total payback and term, the estimated APR barely changes between daily and weekly payments, as the example shows. The difference is cash flow: a weekly debit is larger but lets deposits build up between pulls, while daily debits hit the account every business day. If revenue is lumpy, weekly or percentage-of-sales remittance is usually easier to manage.

Does New Jersey require MCA cost disclosures?

Not yet. Senate Bill S1760, sponsored by Senator Troy Singleton, would require providers of commercial financing to disclose terms, including an estimated annual percentage rate for sales-based financing such as merchant cash advances. Per the New Jersey Legislature's bill history, it was introduced and referred to the Senate Commerce Committee on January 13, 2026, with no further action recorded as of October 7, 2026.

Until a disclosure law is enacted, New Jersey businesses should request the total payback, payment schedule and an estimated APR from every provider and broker, and compare offers on those figures.
