Calculators

What an advance really costs, and what you could get.

Two tools, the same math the desk prices with. A factor rate and term become a payback amount and an Estimated APR. Your monthly deposits become a range you could qualify for.

Change any input and every figure updates. Nothing here is an offer; it is arithmetic on the numbers you enter.

Questions

What people ask about the numbers.

What is a factor rate?
A factor rate is the multiplier a funder applies to an advance to set the payback amount. An advance of $50,000 at a factor of 1.35 has a payback amount of $67,500. The factor is charged on the whole starting amount, not on a declining balance, which is why it cannot be compared to an interest rate by eye. Our panel's factors run 1.25 to 1.50 as of 2026-09-28.
Why is the Estimated APR so much higher than the factor rate?
Because the two measure different things. A factor rate is a flat charge on the starting balance. An APR is the annual cost on a balance that falls with every remittance. Paid back daily over six months, a 1.35 factor works out to an Estimated APR well above 100 percent. The calculator shows both so you see the true annual cost before you choose.
Is a merchant cash advance a loan?
No. An advance is a purchase of a portion of your future receivables. You receive a lump sum and remit a fixed amount, daily or weekly, until the payback amount is met. There is no interest rate; the cost is the factor rate. Batch Capital places advances with third-party funding providers, which set the terms.
How do I lower the cost of an advance?
A shorter term, a lower factor and no stacked positions. Funders price on the deposits they see in the statements, the number of days the account runs negative, and how many advances are already remitting. Paying an existing advance down before a new one, and keeping the account positive for three months, moves the factor more than anything else.
How is the qualify estimate sized?
The way a funder sizes it: on monthly deposits into the business account. The high end is about 10 percent of annual sales, which is 1.2 months of deposits, and the low end is half a month. The panel's floors are 3 months in business, $10,000 a month in deposits and a 500 credit score, checked with a soft pull.
Does using the calculator affect my credit?
No. Nothing on this page touches your credit. Applying uses a soft inquiry that does not affect your score. Accepting an offer may involve a hard inquiry at that point.
