The short answer
On our funding panel, the general floor is $10,000 a month in deposits into the business account, and term loans start at $14,000 a month, as of September 28, 2026. Funders measure revenue by bank deposits, not by what the application says, and the amount offered grows with the deposits behind it.

How Funders Measure Revenue
Revenue, to a funder, means deposits: the sales that land in the business bank account each month. Transfers between your own accounts, loan proceeds and refunds are taken out. A business that writes $30,000 a month on the application but shows $18,000 in deposits is an $18,000 a month business to the underwriter.
That is good news for a business with clean books and modest sales. The number is checkable, and it is the same number for everyone.
The Floors, by Product
For a working capital advance, our panel generally looks for $10,000 a month in deposits. For a term loan, $14,000 a month and at least 6 months in business. Lines of credit and SBA loans size on revenue too, and usually ask for more of it.
Above the floor, the amount scales with deposits. The largest advances cap near 10 percent of annual sales, which is about 1.2 months of deposits. Run your own figures through the advance calculator to see the range.
Below the Line
Under $10,000 a month, the likely path is a smaller advance against card sales, or a plan to route more of the business's revenue through the business account before applying. Cash that never reaches the bank does not count, so depositing it does.
The application is still worth sending. A funder reads the whole file, and a business just under the floor with a clean account and steady growth can read better than one above it with returned items every week.
Commonly Asked Questions
Is the minimum revenue monthly or annual?
Funders read it monthly, from bank statements. $10,000 a month in deposits is our panel's general floor as of September 28, 2026, which is $120,000 a year.
Do cash sales count toward revenue for funding?
Only once they are deposited in the business account. A funder can count only what the bank statements show.
How much funding can I get on $20,000 a month in deposits?
On an advance, the largest files cap near 1.2 months of deposits, so up to about $24,000 at that level, with the exact amount set by the rest of the statements.
